Particularities

The Rectilame 1 23 01 is the perfect equipment for the realisation of little quantity of thin sections, as for monitoring of work on site.
The Rectilame 1 23 01 is a bench type machine with two diamond tools.
The sawing head on the left of the machine, is fitted with a continuous rim blade to slice special shaped samples.
The samples to be sawn are held on a piece-holder and it is easy to obtain parallel sides.
The watering (by flexible pipe) is pointed at the cutting edge. The operator tips up the pieceholder towards the disc. The sample holder can be used as table, the operator moves manually the sample in direction of the disc. A easily put in place device allows the regular slicing of the sample bonded on the object holder.
The grinding unit, on the right, is equipped with a diamond straight cup-wheel. This type of grinding wheel allow a good grinding with an excellent surface finish.
The sample, bonded on a glass slide sample-holder, is held on a oscillating piece-holder which can receive the object-holder up to 50x75 mm. The watering (by flexible tube) is pointed at the grinding-wheel. A see-saw motion, combined with the micrometer advance, allows an accurate rectification up to the requested thickness. The sample is then ready for the final polishing.
The section-holder can be replace by a sample-holder for plug (in order de prepare polished sections)
Each oscillating device (cutting and grinding) is guided by stainless steel bars. A draining with a flexible pipe is provided.
Each working station has a housing easily movable for the maintenance.
