Sticking the thin blade heels to their object-holders is one of the essential operations of the process of making thin sections.

It not only determines the control of the following operations (levelling, grinding, polishing) but also the final quality of the thin section.

We have developed a process and set of materials, accessories and products that make it easy to obtain thin and regular adhesive joints of negligible thicknesses (less than 5 µ) reliably and reproducibly.

The set is organized around the bonding press 1 04 02 (see manual).

• 1 Regulated preheat plate (20 to 60°C) for drying and lightly temperature bonding elements
• 1 Special lens illuminating magnifier (without aberration) for bonding control and bubble removal
• 1 Thickness measurement stand for control of object holders, finished blades and glue joints
• 1 Electronic scale precision 0,1 gr. for the preparation of the glue. (improper dosing of the components leads to a rapid drift of adhesion, hardness and refractive index.)
